BlackGlass: My new MediaPortal Skin

 

Blackglass is the name of the current MediaPortal Skin I use since several months now.

It was important to me to have a well designed and clear look and feel. Since i still use a two screen setup another important argument to choose Blackglass as Mediaportal skin was that it can widely be used with a Touchscreen. The basic home screen (main menu) is the best I can expect for touchscreens.

The current version of the Blackglass skin is 2.2.0. The skin uses a very simple and clear layout. The main menu has the look of a theatre.

Blackglass is being actively developed and supports a lot of plugins. A list of the supported plugins can be found on the projects hompage. There is also a “Blackglass Extras” package which provides different optional themes, sound schemes, alternative layouts and a graphical editor for customizing the basic home screen.

This skin is a must-have which improves the look and feel of your MediaPortal driven HTPC. Your friends will really envy you.
